Silvia joined ETSI in 2012 as a Technical Expert in the Centre for Testing and Interoperability. Her current activities include providing technical management and testing expertise in the areas of open source, interoperability testing and proofs of concept (PoC). Among others, she is in charge of the NFV Plugtests program, the Open Source MANO project (ETSI OSM) and the NFV PoC Framework.   Prior to this position, Silvia was Lead Member of the Technical Staff at Ulticom, where she was responsible for the design and development of software based carrier grade solutions enabling 3G and 4G services. Before that, she worked in the domain of Operations Support Systems (OSS) and Network Management for HP and Thales.

Since October 2011 Diego R. Lopez is in charge of Technology Exploration at the Global CTO Unit, within Telefónica I+D. His responsibilities are related to the definition and coordination of research projects in the areas of new networking technologies and network infrastructures. He is directly involved in activities related to network virtualization, core optimization, AAA, traffic analysis, and infrastructure security.   He is actively participating in the ETSI ISG on Network Function Virtualisation (NFV), chairing its Technical Steering Committee. He is acting as representative of Telefónica in bodies related to network technologies, like the ONF and the BBF, and contributing to several working groups inside IETF.Diego have been appointed by the European Commission as member of the High Level Expert Group on Scientific Data e-Infrastructures (HLEG-SDI).   He received his MS from the University of Granada in 1985, and his PhD degree from the University of Seville in 2001. Since 1985 he have worked for several private and public organisations, developing and deploying communication services.   From 2000 to 2011 he was responsible for the Middleware Area of RedIRIS, the Spanish National Research and Educational Network. As part of these tasks he actively participate in national and international working groups and projects, and he have collaborated in several versions of the e-Infrastructure Reflection Group White Paper, under the auspices of the EU Presidency, in areas related to security and digital identity services.   His current areas of interest are network middleware and network intelligence, virtualization of network architectures, control and signaling protocols, infrastructural and mediation service, and new network architectures and services  Specialities: NFV and Software Networks. Bruno Chatras is a senior standardization manager at Orange Labs and a member of the Orange experts’ community on Future Networks. He is the Chairman of the ETSI Technical Committee on Network Technologies (NTECH).   Bruno is also Vice-Chairman of the ETSI Industry Specification Group on Network Functions Virtualisation (ETSI NFV ISG) and is leading the work on APIs and data models in this ISG. Bruno joined France Telecom / Orange in 1985, where he started his career by developing standards for the GSM core network. Since then he held several management positions within Orange, where he led the Intelligent networks R&D Unit and has been Vice-Chairman of the ETSI Technical Committee on NGN and ITU-T Rapporteur for Intelligent Networks.   Bruno holds several network-related patents and is the author of numerous papers and presentations in the area of network architectures and protocols.

Uwe Rauschenbach is a senior standardization specialist at Nokia Bell Labs and CTO, playing an active role in the development of industry specifications that deal with the introduction of cloud technologies and related management mechanisms into telecommunication networks, namely ETSI Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), ETSI Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) and ETSI Zero-touch network and Service Management (ZSM). Another work area are 3GPP API specifications that enable the 5G core components to communicate, and that allow third-party applications to access network assets. He is responsible as ETSI ZSM rapporteur for the ZSM framework reference architecture, as ETSI NFV rapporteur for the set of specifications that define how the NFV Orchestrator and the VNF Manager interwork and as ETSI MEC rapporteur for the MEC API framework.   Previously, he has worked in other standards developing organizations such as the IETF, the DVB Project and the Open Mobile Alliance on various topics including RTCWeb, Network APIs and Mobile Television.   Uwe has a background in university and industry research in the fields of media coding and networked multimedia services and holds a PhD from the University of Rostock for works in image coding and image communication.

Aseem Parikh serves as Vice President of Solutions and Partnerships at ONF/ON.Lab, where he champions open source SDN projects – CORD and ONOS.   He is responsible for working with network operators and cloud providers to define POCs and help move those POCs to trials to deployments.   Aseem brings 20+ years of global operating experience in the computer networking industry and a deep passion for product management and strategy to ONF. His successful entrepreneurial pursuits include ventures acquired by Cisco in 1999 and Netlogic/Broadcom in 2008.   He was responsible for securing strategic customer wins at Fortune500 enterprises including AT&T, Cadbury-Kraft (Mondelez), Comcast, Fujitsu, Huawei, Kellogg, Verizon and Virgin Media; as well as federal agencies and contractors like Harris, Lockheed Martin and NASA. Aseem holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from UCLA.

Andrea Campanella, 26 from Milan, Italy, is employed as a Member of Technical staff (MTS) at Open Networking Foundation (ONF). Andrea obtained a Master's degree (110/110) in computer science at the Public University of Milan in December 2016 after a Bachelor degree in Digital communication in July 2014. The master degree program and the final thesis work focused on computer networks and SDN, with specific attention to southbound protocols and paths to production.   Andrea started working with ONF through an internship in October 2015. Presently working as a software engineer and developer for different projects and on both the ONOS and CORD platforms. Andrea is currently the leader of the Optical Disaggregated Transport Network (ODTN) Reference Design and Exemplar Platform. He also contributes to the P4 integration activities, the Leaf-spine Trellis project and the Software Defined Broadband Access (SEBA) project. Andrea also sits on the ONOS Technical Steering Team.

Leonid Khedyk is a Chief Technology Officer at PLVision, a software R&D services company, specializing in SDN, NFV, Networking Embedded Systems and IoT.  Leonid has been working in the networking and embedded systems domains for over 15 years. Iurii Odnorogov is Business Development Manager at PLVision, a software R&D services company, specializing in DN, NFV, Networking Embedded Systems and IoT.  With 6+ years in the technology services business, Iurii is responsible for advising network equipment, merchant silicon and network software vendors on applying innovative technologies to drive their business growth. His areas of expertise include business development, processes, and operations, partnerships and alliances, etc.

Juan Rodriguez received his Telecommunications Engineering Degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), Spain. In 2004, he joined the R&D Company of Telefónica, being a member of different working groups on Network Evolution until 2011.   He then led the innovation activities on MPLS until 2013, when he joined the Network Innovation and Virtualization Group of the Global CTIO Unit. In Global CTIO, he is currently participating as a Technological Expert and Project Manager in the Network Innovation team, working on topics like data-plane virtualization, programmable hardware or open switching.
