Roy Chua is Founder and Principal at AvidThink, an independent research and advisory service formed in 2018 out of SDxCentral's research group. Prior to co-founding SDxCentral and running its research and product teams, Roy was a management consultant working with both Fortune 500 and startup technology companies on go-to-market and product consulting.  As an early proponent of the software-defined infrastructure movement, Roy is a frequent speaker at technology events in the telco and cloud space and a regular contributor to leading online publications. A graduate of UC Berkeley's electrical engineering and computer science program and MIT's Sloan School of Business, Roy has 20+ years of experience in telco and enterprise cloud computing, networking and security, including founding several Silicon Valley startups.

Carsten Rossenhövel is Managing Director and Co-Founder of EANTC AG (European Advanced Networking Test Center). Based in Berlin, Germany, EANTC is a test lab specializing in telecommunication technologies and offers vendor-neutral network testing services for manufacturers, service providers, and enterprise customers.   In this role, Carsten has over 20 years of experience in telecommunication networks testing and is responsible for EANTC's business development and marketing. His technical areas of expertise include Network Functions Virtualization and transport network solutions.

Marc Cohn,

Marc Cohn is Principal Technology Strategist for Virtualization at Spirent. He is responsible for qualifying opportunities that leverage Spirent’s testing/assurance core competencies in SDN, NFV, and automation.   Marc created and lead the MEF SD-WAN Certification Program, working closely with MEF. He was appointed Co-Chair of the MEF Certification Committee (2019-20), and is leads the MEF Security Test and Certification Incubation Group. Marc also authors the MEF SD-WAN Insider Blog on AvidThink.   Recognised as a thought leader for the open SDN/NFV movement, he has held senior leadership roles in the Open Networking Foundation, ETSI NFV ISG, and open source networking projects: OPEN-O (Executive Director), OpenDaylight (Silver Level Board Representative), and PNDA.   Prior to joining Spirent, Marc held senior executive roles for innovative NFV/SDN market leaders such as EnterpriseWeb, the Linux Foundation, ClearPath Networks, among others.   Marc also served as Editor for the industry's most important SDN/NFV publications including the original ONF SDN White Paper, NFV Insider Blog (SDxCentral) on behalf of the ETSI NFV ISG leadership and the Linux Foundation Harmonization White Paper.   Marc earned a MS EE degree from the University of Southern California, where he was a Hughes Fellow, and also received the first Computer Engineering degree granted by the University of Missouri.

As chief business officer, Amit focuses on strategic customer relationships that span the company’s Strata, Prisma and Cortex security platforms. Prior to joining Palo Alto Networks in 2018, Amit held several roles at Google, including founding and building Google's Cloud business. In this capacity, he worked to help companies move to Cloud-based services like Gmail, Google Docs and the entire Cloud platform suite. He also led business and operations for Google's AR and VR efforts. Prior to Google, Amit spent 20 years at Oracle in various product, engineering, sales and strategy roles.   Amit holds a master’s degree in industrial and management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.

Saurabh leads the team at Nuage Networks, bringing over 16 years of experience leading cross-functional engineering, product management and marketing teams focused on networking software products.  Most recently, Saurabh was Head of Technology Strategy, CTO office at Ericsson. Prior to his role at Ericsson, Saurabh held a variety of leadership roles during his 13-year tenure at Juniper Networks. He was the head of the NFV platform product line for both engineering and product management functions. Saurabh also headed the Network Programmability (Junos SDK) product line at Juniper and the development of the industry’s first network API toolkit for developers. This group was also instrumental in defining the marketing blueprint for the introduction of software products in a thus so far hardware centric industry.   Saurabh played key roles in building Juniper’s SDN partner and channel programs and defining the SDN architecture/strategy leading to the acquisition of Contrail Systems.  Saurabh has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a Masters in Computer Science from Purdue University and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.

Stefano is currently responsible for Cisco’s SD-WAN and SASE business in EMEA. During his IT career of over 20 years, he has held positions in engineering, product management, business development and international sales leadership.   Stefano holds a master’s degree in electronics engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and Ecole Centrale Paris (France), an Executive MBA from IESE business school in Barcelona (Spain).

Wolfgang May is responsible for the strategic relationships with Aryaka`s alliance partners in Europe, based in Vienna, Austria. He is a strong believer that SD-WAN and IT-Security are the two sides of one coin. If this coin is provided as a managed service, as Aryaka does, then customers really can benefit a lot.  Prior to Aryaka, Wolfgang has held various positions in sales management and channel sales management, with companies like Barracuda Networks, EMC and Informix.  Wolfgang holds a bachelor`s degree in automation technologies from Reutlingen University in Germany.

Pierre-Henri Bourdiol holds the position of EMEA Senior Systems Engineer at Versa Networks since 2014 and brings 20+ years of experience in the networking industry across various technology fields.   Prior to Versa, Pierre-Henri spent 7 years at Acme Packet as EMEA Solutions Architect - Director, and 6 years at Juniper Networks as Senior Systems Engineer.

Joseph is a Sr Sales Engineer at Cato Networks since 2021 covering the EMEA region and bringing 20+ years of experience in the networking and cybersecurity industry.   Prior to Cato Networks, he worked as a Sales engineer at Check Point, Citrix and Palo Alto Networks.  Joseph holds a degree in Computer Engineering from University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris.

Johan started in the research division of Alcatel. Since than he held several positions with an end-to-end solution-focus. He also worked as a business consultant in the IP division, being responsible for IP & Ethernet business data services and cloud services. Currently, he is responsible for business development for Nokia/Nuage’s SD-WAN solution as well as for the evolution of business services.   He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Antwerp, Belgium as well as several telecom patents. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences and participates in MEF.

Justin Melloni is a Technical Product Marketing Manager in the Juniper AI-Driven Enterprise team. Before becoming a Technical Product Marketing Manager, Justin was a Technical Trainer for 12 years working for companies like Akamai, Acme Packet, Lavastorm Analytics, Oracle, and 128 Technology.   He enjoys learning complex concepts and then figuring out how to teach them to his audiences.

Nirav Shah leads the products and solutions team at Fortinet where he focuses on convergence of network security and enterprise networking technologies such as SASE, ZTNA, Network Firewall, SD‑WAN, LAN Edge, 5G and AIOps.  With extensive experience working with enterprises and service providers, Nirav is responsible for developing Go to Market strategy, messaging, launch, and thought leadership.

David has more than 20 years’ experience in the communications and IT industry. He joined Aruba in 2020 as part of the acquisition of Silver Peak. He is as Senior Consulting Sales Engineer covering the EMEA region for the WAN Edge portfolio. He is developing and strengthening sales through Aruba’s partners all over the EMEA region.   Prior to joining Silver Peak, David worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at Silver Peak, Ipanema, as well as IGX Global, Lucent Technologies, DynetCom and Arche. David’s extensive experience in technical solutions such as routing, QoS and Application performance as a Senior Professional Service consultant at leading international companies ensures he has first-hand knowledge and understanding of the EMEA marketplace. He may also mesmerize the audience with close-up magic.

Sashi, Head of SASE Engineering at VMware, is in charge of VMware SASE products including SD-WAN, CWS, Secure Access, and ENI. Sashi was previously the VP of Engineering at Ivanti (known as Pulse Secure prior to acquisition), where he led the cloud transformation of Secure Access products and brought ZTNA/SASE cloud products to market.  He also worked for Fortinet, Stoke, Tatara Systems, and Lucent Bells Labs, among others, building enterprise and service provider networking and security products.   Sashi has a master's degree in computer science and engineering from IIT Bombay, and holds a certificate in executive business from Stanford University.

Zhanna leads the ThousandEyes team across the South EMEA region, delivering cloud and Internet visibility to help customers transform their networks, migrate to the cloud and adopt new ways of working.   Prior to joining ThousandEyes Zhanna spent more than a decade in the technology industry, holding a number of roles at companies like AppDynamics and Devoteam.

Anne is Marketing Director for fixed services in Orange Wholesale France a Carrier to Carrier business unit. She manages 3 Billion€ revenue portfolio.   Prior to this position Anne was FTTH Engineering Director within Orange France where she delivered solutions to support the acceleration of FTTH deployments in France and in particular securing investment plans required within French fiber outplants.   She joined Orange in 1992, first as a R&D network engineer specifying French telecommunications systems and representing Orange in international normalizations organizations. She then heads R&D units she turned to new technologies such as VoIP. Between 2004 and 2013 she held technical positions in VoIP projects portfolio management, on Home Network architectures and on overall transversal network and IT architecture transformations, all with a constant objective to fit business requirements and enhance customer experience.   Mrs Anne Tran Kiem holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications.

As Head of Virtualization Product Management, Marc is responsible for the OneAccess branded virtualization portfolio, including virtual network functions (VNF) product management and strategic partnerships. He also leads the development of the go-to-market model and the set-up of the Ekinops partners’ ecosystem. As a virtualization expert, Marc is the Ekinops spokesperson for the company’s software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) activities.   Marc has over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining Ekinops, he was Head of SDN/NFV Solution Management for Kapsch CarrierCom and has also held several PLM positions within Nortel.   Marc holds a degree in Fundamental Physics from the Université Denis Diderot in Paris. He also completed a Masters at the Ecole de Management Lyon in France and a Masters in the Management of New Technologies.

Amir Zmora is CEO & Co-founder of flexiWAN, the world’s first Open Source SD-WAN & SASE.  Before starting flexiWAN, Amir was CEO & Co-founder of SwitchRTC, a Real-time, interactive WebRTC based video CDN and B2B/B2C collaboration solution acquired by YouNow. Among his previous positions, Amir was VP Products & Marketing for the Technology Business Unit of RADVISION, an Avaya company.

In her current role, Anne-Gaëlle is responsible for supporting EMEA MSSP to create innovative managed service based on Fortinet security networking solution, such as SDWAN and SASE.  Prior to this, Anne- Gaëlle worked as head of overlay services portfolio in a large global service provider.

Ferréol is Cisco's Global Sales Leader for their Unified SASE Solution. Prior to this role, he held multiple sales and leadership positions in France and the US for Cisco and other industry leaders, with one mission - to always Simplify IT.

Hector Avalos has 30 years of experience in the computing, networking and telecommunications industries. He currently holds the position of VP EMEA at Versa Networks.   His current activities are focused on SASE & SDWAN solutions for Service Providers and Enterprises.   Prior to Versa Networks, Hector worked at Ericsson, Juniper Networks, 3Com and Proteon. Hector holds a Master of Computing Science from ‘UDLA’ Mexico.

Mike leads the Business Development team at Nuage Networks. Mike brings a passion for service excellence and growth, with over 25 years in the IT and Telecom Services industries.   Most recently Mike led the Enterprise Service Management team at TELUS. Utilizing his experience in customer service and customer delivery, his team developed and rolled out a national customer experience management program, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and growth. As well, his teams were directly accountable for the implementation of the largest and most complex outsourcing contracts nationally.  Prior to his role at TELUS, Mike spent 7 years with EDS where he was responsible for the revitalization of the North American Web-Hosting and Enterprise Storage service lines, along with leading Service Management for eastern Canada.

With more than 35 years of experience in the B-to-B telecommunications industry focused on managing strategic industry partnerships, Franck Morales has extensive knowledge of the global telecom ecosystem.   For nearly ten years, Franck led the Orange Business Services connectivity portfolio and was instrumental in the company’s global transformation toward SD-WAN, orchestration, and virtualization.   Franck is a proven leader on product and strategic planning for both fixed and mobile technologies, which paved the way for his recent appointment to Vice President, Evolution Platform. This is a new strategic program focused on building the future orchestrated cloud-native infrastructure for our customers to ensure the delivery of real business outcomes.   Franck is a frequent and requested speaker promoting Orange and the MEF at global industry conferences, including MEF Quarterly meetings, SD-WAN Summit and other industry partner events.
