The Next RevolutionWill quantum networks revolutionize everyday life, making unhackable communications secured for banking, medicine, navigation and more? Quantum networks take advantage of the power of quantum mechanics, the strange physical properties that only appear at very small scales -- like individual particles. Using individual photons, quantum networks can create entangled quantum states across the globe.
Today, scientists and industrials are testing the building blocks and prototype systems. They want to send qubits from one quantum processor to another over long distances. Local quantum networks are therefore intra connected into a quantum Internet. These research works involve fundamental and more applied studies in quantum optics, light-matter interaction, non-linear optics, photon detection and nanophotonics.
- What are the network architectures and design principles?
- How to achieve interoperability with classical networks?
- What are the most important experimental results and prototypes?
A call for proposal is open until November 15, 2023.
Co-located with the MPLS World Congress 2024With over a 1000 participants from 53 countries and 215 companies attending, MPLS SD & AI Net World 2023 has once again reached a high level of interest and confirmed to be a valuable event to get a comprehensive overview of where the networking industry is heading to and meet the best experts in the routing area.
For 24 years now, the Congress have highlighted and explained the softwerization, disaggregation and cloudification processes.
The 25th Edition will stand in the Palais des Congrès de Paris from 9th to 11th of April 2024.
