Highlighting IP Networks Technical Evolutions
You have been familiar with MPLS WC for over 25 years. As from next year the Congress branding will turn to Upperside World Congress.
The event will retain what has always made it unique and renowned: offering technical content and anticipating technological developments in its area.
Participants will get a comprehensive overview of where the networking industry is heading to, the latest trends and innovation and meet the best experts and get hundreds of qualified attendees.
A call for proposals is open until July 11th.
2026 Agenda: a Special Focus on Data Center Networking
With the growth of investment in the data center area, especially due to the sovereign digital agenda in Europe, there is interest in discussing the DC networking architectures. Upperside World 2026 will give a special focus on this area.Experts will discuss data center scaling challenges and technologies (compute, connecting between compute nodes power, cooling), topology and switching technologies and how photonics-based technologies help solve scaling challenges.
Data Center Interconnects (trends and considerations for intra and inter-campus connectivity) and network orchestration (AI vs cloud workloads) will also be highlighted.
AI Impact, SRv6 Deployments, IP Optical
The agenda will also cover AI & ML impact on current infrastructures and services (Intelligent computing networks, digital twins, software engineering and automation aspects). As the previous years, SRv6 deployments will receive strong attention as well as IP/optical networking. Other sessions will address energy consumption, routing issues, 5G/6G & the edge, latency and security.
Quantum Networks Summit and SASE & ZTNA Forum
As per last year, the Congress will welcome two co-located events, the Quantum Networks Summit and the SASE & ZTNA Forum (ex SD-WAN Summit) forming 3 conferences under one roof.Quantum Networks third edition will highlight the new research & industry paradigm in the networking industry, while the SASE & ZTNA Forum second edition will explore the strategies for securing network access.
A part of the agenda will be common to the 3 conferences but their identity will remain with 3 distinctive tracks.
Participation Still Gaining Traction
Attracting 1150+ participants coming from 60+ countries and 268 companies worldwide, the Congress is still gaining traction confirming this event as the global rendez-vous for people involved in the future evolution of the IP routing industry.

EANTC Multi-Vendor Interoperability Test
Test areas of the EANTC Interoperability Test Event 2025 included advanced EVPN enterprise service support, inter-domain connectivity solutions for data center interconnection (DCI), disaggregated Open RAN (O-RAN) fronthaul scenarios, 5G backhaul, end-to-end slicing, and Segment routing (SRv6).Traffic engineering and new FlexAlgo policies were also be covered, including opportunities to reduce energy consumption by intelligent traffic steering.
Participant vendors:
Arista, Arrcus, Calnex, Ciena, Ericsson, H3C, Huawei, Juniper, Keysight, Microchip, Nokia, and Ribbon
The testing occured in Berlin from February 17 to 28, 2025. The results were published and presented live at the MPLS & SRv6 AI Net World Paris Congress.
