Towards Fully Quantum Networks

The Fourth Edition of the Quantum Networks Summit will take place on April 7 & 8, 2027, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris.

Co-located with the Upperside World Congress, the Summit brings together leading experts from industry, research organizations, telecom operators, technology vendors and public institutions to discuss the evolution of quantum networking and quantum-safe infrastructures.

Over the past three editions, the event has established itself as one of the leading international forums dedicated to quantum communications, quantum security and the future of network infrastructures.

2027 Agenda: Quantum Memories, Repeaters, Transducers, Entanglement Distribution

There has been more movement in the last twelve months than in the prior three years combined.

In this respect, the technology axis will be the primary structure of the 2027 programme.

Participants will discuss the relevance of Quantum technologies for classical networking and classical computing with specific highlights on quantum memories, repeaters, transducers and entanglement distribution.

Three layers of presentations will be proposed, in the natural progression telcos face when responding to quantum:

• Layer 1: Changing the protocols.
• Layer 2: The "use quantum primitives inside a classical network" layer.
• Layer 3: The network itself becomes quantum.
