Loa Andersson, MPLS IETF WG Chairman

Loa Andersson is co-chair of the IETF MPLS-WG working group. He has been involved in MPLS standardization since the start and has contributed to key MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, DETNET and GMPLS specifications. He is also a regular contributor the yearly MPLS+SDN+NFV World Conference in Paris since the conference started.   Currently questions on low latency and deterministic networking has come into focus and Loa is contributing to that work.
  For several years he has worked as Consulting Senior MPLS Expert at Huawei.

Ofir is an ICT professional focusing on Networking and Cloud architectures with 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications market in which he has held numerous PLM and Solution Architect positions in vendors, system integrators and government customers.   Currently, he is a member of the product team for Nokia’s CloudBand Network Director, which addresses the NFVO piece in the MANO puzzle.

Nicolas Bouthors,
CTO, Qosmos, a division of Enea

As CTO, Nicolas leads Qosmos' technology strategy, driving the company's initiatives in open and virtualized networks. He contributes to standards bodies such as ONF SDN, ETSI NFV and IETF SFC, and Open Source Projects centred around Network Virtualization.   Nicolas has spent over 20 years in the telecommunications and information systems field. Early in his career, he was instrumental in creating HP’s OpenCall business. Then as the R&D manager of Inovatel, the advanced research organization of SFR, Nicolas led several innovative projects highlighting the impact of internet technologies on Mobile Operators.   Nicolas was also CTO and founder of Volubill (2001), a company building a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) product for the Mobile Network Market. Volubill was a spinoff of the work he led as R&D Manager of Cegetel’s Internet research lab.   Nicolas holds several patents relating to Mobile Data Charging. Nicolas has an engineering degree from the French schools Ecole Polytechnique and Les Mines de Paris.

Link aggregation groups don’t always provide an efficient load sharing over the link members. Presenting how Flexible Ethernet (FlexE) technology will allow us to build more flexible and cost effective networks.

Stéphane Litkowski, Network Architect, Orange

Stephane works as a Senior Network Architect for Orange Business Services focused on IP/MPLS backbone evolution and is recognized as an Orange Expert.  Stephane is also responsible for the routing protocol course in a computing engineering school in Paris. Stephane contributes to IETF where he is a co-chair of the BESS working group.

FlexE GMPLS Control Plane
Flex Etherenet (FlexE) was defined by OIF in 2016. FlexE makes it possible to reach very high and flexible bandwidth for Ethernet. Adding a GMPLS control plane to the link layer FlexE will make possible to chose links that has FlexE support when establishing e.g. when an MPLS LSP. This will give dynamic deterministic and un-infringeable for LSP that requires very high Quality of Service.

SP Routing Innovation with Segment Routing, VXLAN and EVPN
Detailing some examples of how service providers are applying cloud networking principles to transform their Edge, Core and Data Center domains, with a particular focus on MPLS Segment Routing and VXLAN as the transport architecture. These transports, combined with BGP community and multi-protocol address family extensions, allow providers to realize a highly scalable, resilient and extensible network architecture.

Russell Kelly is a networking expert with over twenty years’ experience in the IT telecom and networking industries. He has worked for various financial and service providers throughout Europe and the US, and more recently as a TME, Senior PLM and Solutions Architect at Cisco and Juniper.   Russell currently supports the top financial, cloud and service provider customers as a member of the PLM team in Arista Networks, primarily focusing on routing and overlay technologies.

Yvon Rouault,
Technology Advisor, CTO Office, EXFO

Yvon Rouault joined EXFO in January 2014 and holds the position of Advisor, CTO Office. In this position, he draws on his experience as a wireless specialist to focus on new technologies such as 5G, Zero Touch, Network Virtualization (SDN, NFV), SD-WAN, and Fronthaul among others.   With some 30 years of experience in the network test and measurement (T&M) industry, Yvon has occupied various roles ranging from engineering, sales support, account management, channel management, product marketing, and advisor at the CTO office level.   Prior to joining EXFO, he worked for leading companies such as Hewlett Packard, Agilent and Tektronix Communications. He has provided solutions in various networking domains, from transport networks (SDH, etc.) to fixed networks (ISDN, SS7 and VoIP), switching and routing (ATM, IP, MPLS), and mobile networks for the past 10 years.   Yvon holds an engineering degree in Electronics and a master’s degree in Marketing Management. He has lived and worked in France, Canada and Germany.

Dean Lee, Senior Director Product Management, Ixia

Dean Lee has over 25 years of experience in test and measurement, especially in characterizing and validating the performance of carrier class routers and switches. He is currently the senior director of product management at Ixia, overseeing the wireline test solution portfolio.   Prior to Ixia, Dean Lee had worked at HP and Agilent as system engineer, sales manager and business development manager.   Dean Lee holds two patents in QoS and network convergence measurement techniques, and a MSEE degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
