The 17th Edition of MPLS SDN World, together with the Fourth Edition of the NFV & SDN Summit, to be held in Paris in March 2015, will respond these crucial questions (among others).

More than 65 countries represented, +1500 participants

The profile of the Congress delegates demonstrates a growing internationalization and a very strong presence of service providers. Representatives from the EU were 50 %, followed by North America (15%), Russia (13%) and Middle East (9%). With carriers coming from more than 65 countries, the NFV & SDN Summit and the MPLS SDN World Congress can claim to be the first international event in this realm.

MPLS SDN World Agenda: Spring and SDN Migration Case Studies

The controlplane/dataplane paradigm remains at the heart of the debate.

The main session will detail segment routing/Spring and RSVP issues. The session will be closed by a panel exploring synergies between these approaches.

Other sessions will cover SDN migration scenarios, mobile backhaul, SDN controler for traffic engineering and packet optical issues.

NFV & SDN Summit Agenda: What have we learned from PoCs?

NFV PoCs are the "hot thing" this year and there are today a lot of them going on. Next March, we’ll be able to get the first reports. A panel gathering all the main carriers involved in NFV will detail what they have learned from PoCs.

Other sessions will cover deployment case studies , operational models for NFV and NFV/SDN integration with a focus on practical solutions using OpenStack and OpenDaylight.
